ASTERIX AND OBELIX: The new comic-book “Asterix and the Picts” – available now…!

Available in at least 24 languages and awaited all around the world, a new edition of the beloved Asterix and Obelix comics hits the stores on October 24, 2013. It’s the well-known story about a little village in France that still does not want to surrender to the Romans. The story of 35 books now.

Originally written and illustrated by French duo René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, now “Asterix and the Picts” is the first book created by Jean-Yves Ferri and Didier Conrad. They took over duties.

About the story: This time Asterix and Obelix, he’s the big guy with super powers and blue and white trousers, visit the ancient people of northern Scotland. They are called “the picts”, since they have invented the pictogram. “The Picts” means: the painted people.

And as always there’s much fun, some fights with the Romans and also some historical information.
