BEATS MUSIC: A new streaming-service for music – but what’s new comparing to Spotify or Apple Radio?

Another one in the world of music-streaming-services. It’s called Beats Music. An idea by music producer and record-company chairman Jimmy Iovine. Together with Dr. Dre, Luke Wood and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails he runs the business.

Play more than 20 million tracks from every genre. Play Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Country, Jazz, Speed Metal, Afro Beat, Classical, any genre. It’s all there“, the website says. But what’s now then? We already have Spotify or Apple Radio.

New is a special service. A service that recommends new music to you. Gives you ideas of what to listen to. You like Radiohead? Why not discovering Tom York solo? Also: For 9,99 Dollars per month you’ll get personalized selections of song and playlists – depending on time of day, for example.

Or as the folks of Beats Music say: “Get playlists, curated by the best music experts. Recommendations, served up based on your interests. And you can even tell Beats Music where you are, what you’re feeling, and who you’re with, and we’ll deliver the perfect stream of music.
