“CHASING ICE” – National Geographic photographer James Balog tracks Climate Change (Watch the Trailer here!)

Much is told about melting ice and the consequences for the whole world – due to climate change. But how much of that is true? National Geographic photographer James Balog was a sceptic. But in 2005 his trip to the north changed his opinion.

25 cameras, installed on fixed positions, should capture the truth. And they did.

I never imagine that you could see glaciers this big disappearing in such short time“, Balog says in a movie that shows his trip to the north.

“Chasing Ice” went to theaters in November 2012 as a Sundance Award-Winning film.
