VIDEO AND MUSIC HISTORY: Zane Lowe walks through Malibu’s Shangri La Studios

Shangri La Studios Malibu. Once owned by Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan. The latter’s original tourbus still serves as a studio room in the garden.

British band Muse recorded their album “The 2nd Law” at Shangri La. Jake Bugg, Adele, Ed Sheeran and Eminem – they all used the studio for making music. A studio that is now owned by msuic-lover and producer-legend Rick Rubin.

You can smell it. You can hear it. You can see it.
