There were are few hints. And then Co-creator Mark Frost tweeted, see the actual tweet below, the long awaited words.

Cult TV show “Twin Peaks” returns for a third season in 2016. After its original run which started in 1990, the series, created by Frost and David Lynch, gained many fans and friends.

Named after a fictional town in the state of Washington, the drama followed FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) investigating into the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee). Cooper liked coffee and so the hashtag to the aforementioned tweet is #damngoodcoffee.

The now third season is supposed to be aired in 2016, will be set in the present day and picks up the original story, as Rolling Stone Magazine reports.
