UDO JÜRGENS: “Someone who wrote the soundtrack to Germany” – Videos!

On December 21, singer and songwriter legend Udo Jürgens died. Originally born in Austria, he became one of Germany’s most famous and beloved musician.

Jürgens combined sweet and danceable songs with social-driven lyrics. The man who currently toured the country, playing three hours and plus every night, wrote more than 1.000 songs in his defining career.

The soundtrack to Germany,” as comedian Hape Kerkeling said in a TV-interview.
