“Before I die I want to drive the night train to Paris.” They are from the small to the very big. Messages like this one from Berlin, Germany, that people in various places all around the world currently write on special wall – as part of the global “Before I Die”-project.
An art-project started by Taiwanese-American artist Candy Chang on an abandoned house in New Orleans after she lost someone she loved. And while new walls are still being created worldwide, Chang now has released a book about her idea.
“More than 550 Before I Die walls have been created in over 70 countries and stenciled in over 35 languages by passionate people all over the world. This full-color hardcover book is an inspiring celebration of these public walls and the stories behind them“, says Chang.
This week 4 walls were built in Berlin Germany, Whangarei NZ, Mexico City & Koli Finland! http://t.co/ElG5H64WRg—
