His work is about form, color and composition, as he states. Artist Andrew Faris’ paintings, currently living and working in Jackson, Wyoming, live from simplicity.
Almost mathematical forms combined with vivid colors and in symmetry. Often put into context of nature, so the colors shine even more.
“Simplicity, it has been said, is the essence of beauty,” says Faris.
Faris, who has a graphic design and fine art background, takes his paintings out of his studio to the local surroundings of his home in Jackson Hole.
“I like bringing together different worlds,” Andrew Faris told buckrail.com. “The grided geometric bold color against the more organic forms.”
A combination that makes the photos almost look like being treated by computer.
